DD-WRT may only support 2.4GHz but the Tomato link at the bottom (Shibby's Tomato) supports both bands simultaneously as well as adding multiple SSID's (guest ID's, VLAN's, etc). DD-WRT is only used to get this ready to load Tomato. DD-WRT may have been upgraded to support dual band but I don't use it enough to really know. Sorry.
